Liberty bring Wheelers more pedal power

MORE youngsters from West Highland communities will get the chance to make their names as top mountain-bike competitors thanks to new sponsorship.

Liberty, part of the GFG Alliance, has contributed £1,000 to help train adult volunteers to coach young members of the West Highland Wheelers club in mountain biking skills.

The sheer popularity of the junior section of the club, which caters for six- to 14-year-olds, has stretched the resources of existing qualified coaches, meaning that many young people were having to join a waiting list to receive their bike training.
