Half day Friday plans for high school

SECONDARY students in Lochaber may soon have a four-and-a-half-day week thanks to new timetabling plans.

According to the Highland Council, a decision to move towards the 33-period week was made back in 2014, following much discussion about the educational benefits, and in particular the importance of sustaining rural education.
