Organists' Review Magazine December 2021 Back Issue

December ties in with the 250th anniversary of Saint-Saëns birth so I was really pleased when Steven Isserlis agreed to write about him as a composer. He may seem an unusual choice but Prière for organ and cello is one of his favourite works.

Before even considering applying to be the next editor, Francis O’Gorman had interviewed Susan Landale and that was already
planned for this issue. She has led an extremely fulfilling and interesting life so I hope you enjoy reading that article.

And, as it’s December, traditionally we always seem to feature cinema organs. This time Donald has elected not to write about Wurlitzers,
but instead has moved off on a slight tangent to talk about Conacher organs.
