The power of the jump cut is still largely underutilised in games. Was nothing learnt from Thirty Flights of Loving? But at long last, here’s another narrative-focused adventure that utilises jump cuts to devastating effect. The difference is that, this time, the effect is to induce horror – oh so much horror. Fused 240 is an impressive work of body horror that imagines a world in which humans have been merged with automobiles.
