Is a PORTABLE TOP-SPEC GAMING PC even possible?
Usually there are just two key parameters governing our purchase journey when the time comes to build or upgrade a computer. One: how much money is in our current account right now, and two: how much of that money can we spend on RGB circuit boards before we lose the ability to meet our own gaze in the mirror without feeling utter shame?
And that’s it. We look for the parts with the highest specs available at the prices we can afford, put them all together in a big box and sit back in our chairs, laughing at all the puny games who think they can get even a momentary frame drop out of us now.
That same process grows exponentially in sleepless night-inducing deliberation and fiddliness if we add just one more variable, though. What if we get it into our head that we want an all-AMD system, what then? Or, heaven forbid, some high concept project like a system submerged in mineral oil?
