I‘ve worked photographing fashion and beauty portraiture for over 20 years, and have been lucky enough to photograph rock stars such as Bono and Slash for magazines, and the approach is always to make them look dynamic yet accessible. Earlier this year I was contacted by Brighton-based photographer Sophie Sheinwald, who, with videographer and photographer Annie Murray, started the campaign. I was asked if I wanted to be one of 100 UK-based photographers to take part in their 2020 Vision Project. I, of course, said absolutely yes, as the project serves as a national photographic tribute of NHS healthcare workers, reflecting dedication through the COVID-19 pandemic to validate and recognize the heroic work of our NHS staff.
