Pamela’s shot of these young children playing and running along the beach is heart-warming, vibrant and eye-catching. The smiles from the children are infectious - it’s impossible to feel unhappy looking at these kids having fun on the coast, and it goes to show the power a photograph can have when capturing these moments.

02 NEW DAY BY NGUYEN TAN TUAN

This wonderful silhouette image from Nguyen is a clear winner in this month’s Reflection contest. We loved it because of the sublime sunset colours in both the sky and shimmering reflection in the water. The poses from the fisherman are also fantastic and give the image a strong focal point. Nguyen has cleverly framed his photograph with the fishermen in the middle of the frame and the sun behind the person on the left, preventing the sun from causing a bright ‘hot spot’ in the picture. It’s a fantastic travel shot and one worthy of a place in this month’s competition. Well done!
