Q How do you ensure you are getting enough Vitamin B12 into your diet?
A It’s important for us all to try and eat as varied a diet as possible, including as big a variety of foods as is realistic. Sometimes, due to tastes and availability, this isn’t always possible and it can be helpful to supplement. A good multivitamin, a B vitamin complex supplement, and a dairy-free probiotic are all really useful for optimum health. Many foods are also fortified with B12, though, including marmite, non-dairy spreads and nutritional yeast — another excuse to use ‘nooch’ on everything!
