We know mindfulness is about awareness – but another dimension to the magic of mindfulness appears when we apply that same present moment awareness to our emotions. When we are aware of how we feel, we sow the seeds for powerful transformation. We’ve looked at how the food we eat and the way we move has an impact on our wellbeing, and we’re growing awareness around our choices. We’ve also laid the foundations for a powerful gift that mindfulness brings: acceptance. But, when it comes to accepting our bodies, many of us hit a stumbling block.
