Exercise has transformed my life, and I’m on a mission for you to experience its benefits, too. My relationship with running has changed over the years. At school, it was all about fun; getting muddy on long cross-country challenges. Running in my 20s brought me adventure exploring exotic places, like when I completed the toughest land race in the world in the Sahara. In my 30s, it’s no longer about being the fastest or going the furthest, running is now a way to manage my mindset.
Medical professionals recommend exercise as a tool to improve wellbeing. Research suggests regular exercise can decrease the risk of depression by 30 per cent and, with one in four of us experiencing a mental health problem every year, it’s time to get moving.
