Originally released in 2008, the duo’s return to influential LA club venue The Troubadour gets afirst-time 3LP vinyl release, with the CD also back out. The yacht rock titans treat their visit as an excuse to kick back. For a duo who exemplify the relaxed life anyway, these stripped-back takes are so smooth you occasionally yearn for the edge of their full-band show. It takes a while for the big tunes to arrive, too. Once they do you’ll be transported somewhere more luxurious.
