How did you get in to running?
I started at university, to improve my fitness and make positive lifestyle changes. I lost a third of my bodyweight, but post-uni I forgot how much I loved to run. After a family bereavement I took it up again, starting with parkrun, and found running gave me the headspace I needed to come to terms with a very stressful time. I joined the Asics FrontRunner UK team in 2017 and gained a family of people who support me to achieve my goals. I also volunteer as a guide for Visually Impaired Runners.
