This shoe provides ample cushioning, a durable design and lots of other neat features. Made with a Michelin rubber compound, the outsole is really grippy; it’s also extremely durable. The cushioning helps protect the foot from excessive impact and there’s a decent amount of flexibility with the cushioning able to move with your foot, providing a naturally smooth ride. A rockplate provides extra protection from protruding rocks, roots or other trail obstacles and the upper part of the material is an extremely breathable layer that helps ventilate feet. The in-sock liner also helps absorb moisture, helping to prevent rubbing. This is a great choice for a versatile and durable trail shoe.

This is one very sexy pair of trail shoes, one of the lightest pair this runner has ever tested. Comfortable straight out of the box, they felt like there were custom made and the inner sock feature locks the foot in place really well, reducing the possibility of chafing. This feature is very breathable, made of a very soft and stretchy ripstop with enough room for your toes. It’s easy to love the look of the monochromatic design of the Cloudventure Peak – however, as a trail shoe, it will not remain white for very long! ON’s outsole make the Cloudventure Peak a very good hybrid running shoe, that’s almost as good on the roads as it is on the trails.
