EDUCATION
ON JULY 8, a group of aspiring authors will gather at Humber College’s leafy Lakeshore campus in Toronto for six days of education and networking. When this year’s summer workshop cohort arrives, they will be greeted by several new faculty members, brought in by the program’s new director, David Bezmozgis. British author and poet Adam Foulds, Cree author Tracey Lindberg, and American novelist Jenny Offill – who will serve as this year’s Timothy Findley Visiting Chair in Creative Writing – join current workshop mentors Alissa York, Colin McAdam, and Kyo Maclear for the week. “They’re all people whose work I admire,” Bezmozgis says.
