WORD GAMES
As I sit down to type this column, I’m picturing my parents’ game cupboard. It looks a lot like game cupboards around the world, filled with staples of the mainstream gaming pantheon. Monopoly, Sorry!, the Game of Life – we all cut our teeth on these perennial standbys. However, there was one genre that seemed to occupy a surprisingly large percentage of my parents’ library: word games.
