For the past twenty years now Alan Bell, the founder of The Scottish Centre for Personal Safety charity, has been providing personal safety advice and self-defence training to groups and individuals, but specifically those classed as vulnerable within our communities.
Alan first started providing personalsafety courses, talks and workshops back in 1997 as a not-for-profit, social enterprise called ‘Security And Safety’. In those days, his main clients were domestic violence and rape victims and, the company worked with many police forces and Women’s Aid groups across the UK as well as Rape Crisis Scotland and Victim Support.
