They can still be found ranging in only a few of the continent’s unfenced wilderness regions, most notably, Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Zambia’s North and South Luangwa national parks, Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools, Kenya’s Laikipia region, Tanzania’s Ruaha National Park and Selous Game Reserve, and South Africa’s Kruger.
