When her son was born, Tess Arkwright, co-owner of Mwinilunga Safaris, was led to believe that his life expectancy was 21. Andrew is now 35 and running his own safari camp. “When he reached 21, I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday”, says Tess. “’Let’s go on safari, he said. ‘And I want to be the guide’.”
