In February, SpaceX announced its plans to fly four private citizens aboard a Crew Dragon capsule later in 2021. The flight, called Inspiration4, was contracted by entrepreneur Jared Isaacman, who reserved the three other seats to benefit his favorite charity, St. Jude Hospital. One of those seats will go to Haley Arceneaux, a 29-year-old St. Jude employee and childhood cancer survivor. Another seat will be filled by Christopher Semboski, who donated to and participated in a fundraising raffle for the hospital. The final one goes to Dr. Sian Proctor, a science teacher and analog astronaut familiar to many NSS members. The launch is scheduled for September, and the crew is currently engaged in teambuilding exercises and training.
