LWRCI’s Six8 Razorback Mk II Is As Good, If Not Better, Than They Say
The LWRCI Six8 Razorback Mk II helps Todd Huey add to the 5,000-plus feral hogs he’s already killed.

Sometimes life happens at breakneck speed, even for slow-rolling writer types with a trigger-finger itch to scratch. One moment you’re window-shopping at the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits, and the next, you’re staring down the barrel of a tight deadline … but it’s one worth hammering out. That is precisely where I found myself on the final day of the show. In an instant, my trajectory changed course from shooting the breeze with good friends at the SilencerCo booth to a turnand- burn visit at LWRC International’s slice of tradeshow real estate; my objective: a hard look at the company’s Six8 Razorback Mk II, chambered in 6.8SPC II.

Friend and iconic hog slayer, Lone Star Boar’s Toddy Huey, had plenty to say about LWRCI’s rile systems, and took the opportunity to introduce me to Adam McMillan and a couple other LWRCI gents at a SHOT Show social event earlier this year. While Huey’s unwavering endorsement of LWRCI was not lost on me, as another avid hog hunter, I was bent on digging into the company and a rig myself—and now the moment had arrived. This assignment, on a tight deadline, had LWRCI racing to get the Razorback II in my hands, and I was racing to the Triple C Shooting Range in Cresson, Texas, to see what Huey’s fuss was really about.
