Charles Schulz’s artworks have been doing well lately. The one shown above made $12,000 (£8570) at Sotheby’s New York on June 16, while an undated but early three-strip artwork showing Charlie Brown made $16,000 (£11,035) at Bonhams New York on June 8. The latter is an entirely wordless gag involving his decision to skate across a frozen puddle.
