Forget Michael Jackson and Madonna: this summer Timothy Millett and Claudia Hill are the king and queen of pop. Taking into account, that is, the title of their upcoming exhibition, POP: Portraits and Objects from the Past.
The show is staged at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in Knightsbridge, London, on June 28-29 and features more than 150 portrait miniatures from Hill of Ellison Fine Art and an assortment of historical portraits and objects from Millett.
It is the sixth summer exhibition Hill has staged at the club which offers a salubrious atmosphere where, she tells ATG “visitors will be able to browse at their leisure in the comfort of a large, airy room, away from the hustle and bustle of a large tent”.
