This bronze bell or bozhong, dated 1761 with an inscription by the Emperor Qianlong, led Koller’s Asian art sale in Zurich on June 13-14 at SFr1.035m (£830,405).
1. Bronze censer from the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty which realised €350,000 (£304,350) at Van Ham in Cologne on June 14.
2. Gilt and lacquered wooden sculpture of Guanyin from the 17th or 18th century which sold for €80,000 (£69,570) in the June 18 Lempertz sale in Brussels.
