In the little market town of Eye in Suffolk, English and Continental Antiques is preparing for its final exhibition of the year (starting November 18).
The exhibition focuses on East Anglian antiques with examples of works by Norwich School and Suffolk artists, 18th century Lowestoft porcelain and clocks and furnishings from some notable local houses.
Owner Steven Harmer has set it up “to showcase the works of artisans, tradesmen and women of Suffolk and Norfolk” and adds that pieces have come from “all over the UK and beyond, many having been collected over the last year”. Pieces are on offer in the gallery and from the website (see below).
