Islington dealership Kevin Page Oriental Art is officially re-opening following a flood that forced many dealers in Islington to close.
Antiques dealers of Camden Passage in Islington suffered after a burst water main flooded the area in north London in December 2016 (ATG No 2271). Page’s shop had been submerged in five feet of water and many of his antique ceramic vases were swept across the shop and left floating in muddy water. Page, who had traded from the shop since 1968, spent the past year restoring the building and buying new stock to replace the damaged objects.
