A MID Argyll museum is among 15 across Scotland to benefit from more than £600,000 of funding from Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS).
Kilmartin Museum has been awarded £17,000 by the national development body. Kilmartin Museum is currently undergoing redevelopment and the MGS funding will pay for professionals to produce a new plan for presenting and interpreting their collection. Kilmartin Museum business development manager Cameron Bruce said: ‘We are delighted to have received this grant and that Museums Galleries Scotland continue to be supportive of the Kilmartin Museum redevelopment project.’
