THE Kids on the Run group tried offroad and off-trail running at its latest run round Inveraray.
Gill, Dillon, Lewis, Ashley, Eilidh and Erin began by running out to the golf club and tackling the hill using different paces and speeds. They made good use of their arms to drive up some small, steep hills and to balance on the way back down. The runners even managed to beat most of the midges and clegs.
This rough running helps develop strong calf and ankle muscles but can be challenging. The session ended with some running and walking back to the school.
