A PETITION to press for a permanent solution to problems on the A83 trunk road is to be debated by the Public Petitions Committee at the Scottish Parliament.
The petition was launched by the Argyll First group of Argyll and Bute councillors in 2014. Since then the group has given evidence to the Pub lic Petitions Committee and the committee travelled to the Rest and Be Thankful for a site visit before meeting in Inveraray with then transport minister Derek MacKay.
Argyll First councillors gave evidence to the committee at an earlier hearing. Left to right: Donald Kelly, Dougie Philand and John McAlpine.
