Staff at the main Brodick Co-op have shown their support for a joint operation by Police Scotland and Trading Standards officers aimed at tackling bogus callers and doorstep crime.
Members of the public who stopped for a chat after doing their shopping at the store received information on how to avoid being a victim of bogus callers and rogue traders as well as dealing with nuisance calls.
The joint campaign is part of a nationwide initiative called Operation Monarda in which Police Scotland, and their partners, highlight how members of the public can protect themselves against doorstep crime in the Highlands and Islands and what people can do to deter perpetrators.
