Common sense prevails


In our modern-day world where fastidious bean counting and bureaucracy can sometimes seem to be the order of the day, isn’t it reassuring to see that common sense can still prevail?

We refer to the letter (right) from Alistair Hamilton of Kildonan who has had public water leaking onto his land for eight years, but after an article in The Banner back in January, describing the waste and the complicated issue of responsibility, the situation has now finally been resolved.
