A determined couple refused to let foul weather ruin their wedding day on Arran, despite being caught up in near-hurricane force winds during storm Ophelia.
Newlyweds Kenny and Samantha Gribble of Kilmarnock, who have been coming to Arran for more than 10 years, tied the knot on Monday October 16 just as the named storm was gathering impetus and which would later blow off roof tiles across the island, cause minor flooding in Sannox and bring down an old beech tree in Lamlash.
