The new adventure playground at Brodick Castle has been dealt another blow. This time one of the high wooden bar chairs used at the new cafe has been stolen. It was taken last Thursday night the day before the Banner highlighted the ongoing vandalism problems at the Isle be Wild park.
The distinctive solid wood armchair worth more than £100 was one of five available to sit at the cafe counter. Bosses are checking the new CCTV cameras which have been installed and the police have been informed.
Acting property manager Chris Mills said: ‘These are attractive chairs and I can see why someone would like one in their garden, but they simply can’t take ours. This is just not on and the vandalism and theft simply has to stop and stop now.’
