As an activity for the Arran youth and as a thank you to the parents, supporters and volunteers of the Arran Youth Foundation, members hosted a dinner at Eighteen69 restaurant at the Auchrannie.
Held every year, more than 45 invited guests were treated to a three-course meal entirely cooked and served by the club members under the watchful super vision of chefs Colin Miller and James Knowles and Auchrannie waiting staff and management who all gave up their time to ensure that the evening was a success.
Due to ferry issues, Graeme Johnston, the youth work manager, was unable to get over from the mainland. However, Hollie Watkins took the lead and, along with Eilidh Macpherson, they managed the entire evening with aplomb. On the menu for the evening was a choice of starter: bruschetta with tomato and avocado or a butternut squash soup.
