KA Leisure has been successful in the 60th year of the RoSPA occupational health and safety awards 2016. The organisation, which runs all leisure-based facilities on behalf of North Ayrshire Council, including the Arran Campus in Lamlash, achieved the gold award in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
Alex Murray, KA Leisure’s health and safety co-ordinator, was presented with the award during a recent ceremony at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow, as the event marked its diamond anniversary.
The RoSPA awards are celebrating 60 years of presenting highly-regarded and sought-after accolades to businesses and organisations which have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.
