The first indoor meeting of the Arran Natural History Society for 2016/17 took place on Thursday September 1 at the Rangers Centre in Brodick Castle Country Park.
Jack Ibbotson gave an illustrated presentation entitled ‘Ropes and Rats’ based on his time spent working on the Shiant Islands Recovery Project. This project aims to remove non-native rats from the islands for the benefit of breeding seabirds.
