Serge and Meg El Adm purchased their house during the summer months. However over the colder autumn and winter months it became obvious their storage heaters and immersion unit for hot water was expensive, hard to control and was not providing comfortable living conditions. We first went to see them in January and after a full survey provided them with a Smart Home Report recommending replacing the system with a Mitsubushi Ecodan Coastal heat pump with twelve radiators and 210 litre hot water cylinder.
Full assistance was provided by us with their application for the RHI incentive. In March we installed the system taking two days in all. To help provide the electricity for the heat pump a 4kwp set of solar panels was also installed. Now three months after installations this is what they think:
