Arran’s economy, its challenges and its future direction were the topics of choice last week when new North Ayrshire Council leader Joe Cullinane spent a day on the island.
The visit formed part of Joe’s plans to get out into the local area and meet some of the businesses, groups and individuals making a positive difference in their community. He became council leader when Labour took over the administration of the council last month.
Arran was the first port of call and Councillor Cullinane ensured that a jam-packed agenda was prepared to make the most of his trip over on Tuesday October 4.
