The Isle of Arran Drama Association will once again host their One-Act Festival over three days starting on Thursday February 23 at the Arran Community Theatre in Lamlash. The well-established festival will play host to eight plays, with three junior and five senior plays taking place over the course of the festival. The plays presented by the Lamlash Junior Drama Club, Whiting Bay Music and Drama Club, Shiskine SWI and Shiskine Junior Drama Club will be adjudicated by Mr Nat Little, who is a first-time visitor to the Isle of Arran Drama Festival and who will provide feedback on the evening’s performances each night.
Jerry Arthur, chairman of the Isle of Arran Drama Association, said: ‘The teams have worked hard to put on the festival, and I would like to thank the casts and producers.
‘Our behind-the-scenes people pull it all together for us – the stage crew led by Euan Stout and up in the sound and lighting box, Colin Macdonald. We would not be able to run the festival without them. Our thanks also to KA Leisure staff, who are always more than helpful.
