Apricot jam mortar holds Brodick Castle together

It is Brodick Castle as you have probably never seen it before – in edible form.

Architects Robert Potter and Partners took the dedication to their work to a whole new level when they created a Brodick Castle for Cake Fest Scotland last weekend.

Held as part of the Festival of Architecture, the cake festival in Stirling saw 100 teams of amateur and professional bakers from all across Scotland recreate the country’s top 100 buildings in cake form.
