Patricia Gibson, MP for North Ayrshire and Arran, is campaigning to highlight and combat loneliness this winter.
Building locally on Age Scotland’s campaign ‘No one should have no one’, she is seeking to highlight the extent of loneliness and isolation, encouraging people to act in, and seek support from, their communities.
Loneliness and social isolation can be especially bad when wintry weather and icy pavements can make people afraid to leave their homes.
