Arran will get a bird’s eye view of one of the largest tri-service and multinational military exercises of its kind in Europe when Exercise Joint Warrior gets under way at the weekend.
Running from today (Saturday) until May 4, the UK-led exercise is linked directly into the NATO military training exercise programme and provides NATO allies and partners with the opportunity to improve the tactics and procedures vital on today’s battlefield.
International warships gather at HMNB Clyde ahead of a previous Exercise Joint Warrior.
