The annual Brodick Church fete took place last week along with the well publicised raffle draw for the duck egg derby.
Alison Bilsland holds the winning duck egg aloft as Elaine Duncan reveals the winner’s name. A blindfolded Rev Angus Adamson drew the winning egg.

The church hall, as usual, hosted the popular tea room and an array of home baking while the church itself hosted the books and children’s toy stalls. Under a marquee outside was the tombola and bric-a-brac stalls as well as a very well stocked plant stall which proved to be very popular, while in the garden children’s games took place.
