Adder is found dead after attack

A Brodick man was given a fright when he came across a large adder while out walking his dogs.

But on closer inspection he found it had been killed by someone striking its head with a rock. The female snake, which was around 2ft long, was found by Nicol Bunyan in Glen Rosa on Sunday September 11 about a mile up from the campsite.
