Arran Heritage Museum is hosting its fourth annual Vintage and Veteran Motor Cycle Show tomorrow (Sunday) and this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than ever.
Invitations to members of mainland clubs and local enthusiasts have been given to show their machines – including off-road machines – and the response so far indicates that there will be a very memorable turnout. The show starts at 1.30pm when a parade of gleaming machines will be lined up on the lawn, and their owners will be on hand to discuss and explain their machines.
As musical accompaniment, the Arran Pipe Band will play a set at approximately 2.15pm. In addition to Café Rosaburn’s usual attractive fare, there will also be a stall selling locally sourced beef and venison burgers. There will also be the famous museum tombola stand.
