Great nicht wi Burns at Shiskine Hall

Chairman Gordon Kinniburgh and speaker Colin Cameron raise their glasses.

More than 80 people attended the biennial Burns Supper at Shiskine recently, which sees everyone in the community join together to celebrate the works of the bard. Following the Selkirk Grace by Neil Arthur, and the traditional, and tasty, cock-a-leekie soup, the haggis was piped in by Willie Robertson, carried by his daughter Amelia, and jointly addressed by three P7 pupils at Shiskine primary school: Julie Hamill, Erin McNiven and Laila Webster.
