The McLellan Arts Festival starts tonight (Friday) with Maura Dooley and the McLellan Poetry Award winners’ gig in Corrie and Sannox hall with music by Arran Dawn. Last year’s winner, Jed Myers, came all the way from Seattle and there is sure to be a tense final to the contest this year again.
Tomorrow (Saturday) there is an evening of ceilidh entertainment with live music and a generous bufiet supper in Whiting Bay hall at the famous festival ceilidh – please remember to BYOB.
Beautiful choral music in Corrie Church can be heard on Sunday with an interesting talk about radio drama by David Hunter in Brodick Library on Sunday afternoon.
