Terminal parking problems?

Parking for cars near the new Brodick ferry terminal is going to be a serious issue. Only 80 car spaces will be provided in the new terminal car park, of which some will be for staff, some for the disabled and some presumably for long stay. There is no separate provision for long stay parking.

Thanks to RET, which has had the predictable effect of massively increasing the volume of visiting car traffic to the island, there are few spaces left in Shore Road for parking during the increasingly long season. Thus, it will be very difficult for long periods of the year and for popular sailings to park one’s car within reasonable walking distance of the boat.
