THE FASTEST teenager in history and one of the hottest prospects in world sprinting, Trayvon Bromell, will be lining up at the Co-op Bank Great CityGames Manchester later this month after the American became the latest world-class name to be unveiled for the prestigious street meeting.

Trayvon Bromell: the American is one of the rising stars of world athletics
Bromell, 20, will take on sprint stars Richard Kilty, CJ Ujah and Kim Collins in a hotlyanticipated 100m race down Deansgate through the heart of Manchester on Friday May 20.
The American, who won the world indoor 60m title in Portland in March, leads the way among a new generation of exciting young sprinters, having also won bronze at the World Championships in Beijing, beating Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell in the process.
Bromell became the first teenager to break the 10-second barrier with a 9.97 to win the NCAAs in 2014, and has since run 9.84 for the distance, making him the joint 10th fastest man in history and faster than US legend Carl Lewis.
