VITALITY BRITISH 10km, Westminster

PAUL WHITTAKER headed the 12,000-plus runners who took part in this well established race through the heart of historic London, Martin Duff reports.

Finishing a fine tenth overall was Birchfield Harriers’ Hannah Walker in 34:50, which followed on from her third place and PB of 33:48 in the Vitality London 10,000m over much of the same course at the end of May.

Walker was headed there by Rachel Felton’s 33:35 but reversed the standings here with a 50-metre victory.
