I’m turning into my mother. When my big fat Greek Cypriot momma puts on a feast for our expansive family, she always makes sure she caters to everyone’s tastes. Even at Christmas, she’ll serve turkey with all the trimmings alongside kofte, a moussaka, salads, a side of lamb, gammon and a whole lot more besides. Never mind dessert: from cheesecake to trifle, via baklava. Nobody leaves her house hungry. And I always go home with a Tupperware Filled with a selection of dishes that are often shared with my flatmate and friends.
While I’m deficient in the kitchen, I’ve applied momma’s tactics to feasting to my approach to Attitude. Putting a new issue together is a lot more complex than you, our faithful readers, might imagine.
